 Biography
With a hip-hop dance background, Aliah started belly dancing in January 2001, and immediately fell in love with the dance. She learned what she knows now from several dedicated belly dance teachers, as well as dancers she has practiced and performed with. This gave Aliah the opportunity to find her own style.
Aliah has performed at many different types of shows, as a soloist and as part of a group. In a collaboration effort, other professional dancers and Aliah have formed the Middle Eastern Dance Troupe Il Jawahir Min Sharq out of Ottawa, Canada. The troupe performs together at restaurants, festivals, weddings, parties, etc.
